A sad loss. I had the pleasure of seeing him & the MG's play in a Blues Festival here in the Witch City (Salem, MA) back in 1999. It's amazing that he, as well as the rest of Booker T. & MGs, played on virtually 99% of Stax Records' output from 1962-71.
