I dropped the all-live-tracks idea, relied on a few old favorites and just went for it.

"Masculine Intuition" - The Music Machine
"Long Distance Runaround" - Yes (for Steve Howe's birthday)
"Viva! Sea-Tac" - Robyn Hitchcock
"I Know You Got Soul" - Eric B. & Rakim
"Future Shock" - Curtis Mayfield
"Sweet Dreams Are Made of This" - The Soul Rebels
"777-9311" - The Time
"Spiderfighter" - Guided By Voices
"Let Me Dream If I Want To" - Mink DeVille
"Stay Useless" - Cloud Nothings
"Get a Grip on Yourself" - The Stranglers
"Drivin'" - Pearl Harbour & the Explosions
"Waiting for Something" - Nada Surf
"Fantasy Friend Forever" - The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
"M79" - Vampire Weekend (for Ezra Koenig's birthday)
"Fascination" - David Bowie
"White Light" - New Model Army (for Justin Sullivan's birthday)
"That's When I Reach for My Revolver" - Mission of Burma
"The Man Who Wrote Danny Boy" - Joe Jackson
"Dog Eat Dog" - Adam & the Ants
"Back of My Hand (I've Got Your Number)" - The Jags

You get some good mileage out of Live At Leeds, Delvin. One of the all time great live records. Especially Substitute which is given a short and extra heavy treatment. That bass sound is just astonishing.

Agreed that Live at Leeds is one of the all-time greats. I really like the 1995 CD reissue.
I get a lot of mileage out of Rhino's DIY and Just Can't Get Enough series, too. Eight songs from that setlist came from those two series.
The selection by The Music Machine came from a comp I found at a record store in Everett, Washington last month. It's on the Collectables label.
