I stopped by the local Goodwill this afternoon, searching for something interesting to wear for our Mad Men day at work on Wednesday (advertising people are lame-o). I failed to locate any era-appropriate sartorial options, but I did pick up 5 albums for $6.01:
Hot Boxing – Magnapop (produced by Bob Mould, natch)
Archaeology – The Rutles (still has its 15 lbs., 99 pence tag from London's Virgin Megastore)
Super Fantastic Mega Smash Hits! – Various Artists (includes Vic Chesnutt's semi-legendary cover of "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia)
White Riot, Volume Two: A Tribute to the Clash – Various Artists (Uncut magazine promo with 16 covers, including Pete Wylie's take on "Stay Free" and Tommy Stinson's "Hateful")
Sometime Anywhere – The Church (Limited Edition 2 CD)
Not bad.
