Watching Elvis Costello & the Roots performing Bruce Springsteen's "Brilliant Disguise" on Jimmy Fallon right now.
I like that song. I like Costello. I like the Roots. But watching this is the definition of suffering. It's like a napalm attack in Hell.

Why would Elvis feel the need to play that song when 90% of his are sooooo much better than that particular Springsteen tune?

Apparently Fallon was doing an entire week of Springsteen tributes. I had just happened to see Costello was going to be on last night and watched it, to my regret.
