Just down the road and across the border from me. (I'm right next to Vermont and Mass.) Man, I love me some Neko Case.

That's pretty cool, tho it's a fairly slight collection of vinyl ya got there, Ms. Case.

I was thinking the same thing, but I like how the article makes a point of her having over 500 albums! Heck, I misplace more albums than that every time I move.

Still haven't found my vinyl copy of The Velvet Underground and Nico, which I last saw at my old apartment. It was peeled, but it was the original Verve issue.

Five hundred? I'd bet anyone on this board can top that.

But I doubt any of us can top ?uestlove. According to a December article in RS, the Roots drummer's collection includes more than 77,000 LPs. (Don't have a link to provide, sorry.)

It's not the number of albums that count, but the use you get out of them. I didn't see a turntable anywhere near that shelf. You come into my room, and in addition to the ones on the shelf across the room, there are another 30 or so stacked vertically or laying around next to the turntable.

It's not the size of the collection. It's the way you use it.

And let us not go into the merits of colored vinyl vs. black vinyl.
