kind of the opposite of tots question.
often i will devote a whole day to one artist and listen to several - 6 of their cds in one day. normally ill listen to the groups they have been in first and then their solo albums which dont sound too much alike.

bands that are somewhat related- after listening to springsteen any of his musical cousins- soutshside johnny, nils lofgren etc
even though they are not so alike often seem to listen to joe jackson graham parker n elvis costello almost as if they are competing in a battle of the bands
