I like whatever the Noel Gallagher song is that MTV plays the video for at 4 a.m. every day. Is the entire album pretty good?

It's got some good songs. He's taking a different approach from what he did with Oasis, which is good. That's not to say I'm particularly bowled over by the album, but at least Noel didn't just put a new band together and cover the same old ground.

The Northern Pikes. . . There's one that hasn't crossed my radar in a while. I listened to them back in the early 1990s along with their fellow Canadians Lowest of the Low.

Good Thievery Corp. track as well.

Yes, at 4 a.m.

Though for all I know it might actually be VH1. If there was ever any difference between the two, there's none whatsoever now.

Most of the Northern Pikes' stuff is pretty mainstream, IMO, but I've always enjoyed that song.

The Thievery Corporation track was a request.

The WoV track was from Urgh! When Ridgway closes the song by saying, "Show business is my life," I love to wrap up the show by saying, "Mine too, Stan."
