Handsome Boy Modeling School
as I write this I find out there's already a band by that name. Anyway, I took it from an episode of Get A Life with Chris Elliot.

I'm So Confused
An unsuggested band name and Luna songtitle and response to totaji.
I actually heard a Handsome Boy Modelling School song- "Sunshine-" a decade ago while trying to track down Tarnation/ Paula Frazer rarities.
The song loops verses by P.F., Sean Lennon, and Father Guido Sarducci, et al, and I can highly recommend it.

It, of course, should have read:

Nostrilla
The world's one and only nasal band. They use their noses as musical instruments.
The simple breathing in and out of humans, primates and other animals can be stretched and permeated to punctuate beats and blow octaves high and low.

The Beatles. There was an old band of this name, but I don't think anyone is using it now.

I recall reading about a band, some years ago (late '70s) who tried to use that name, on those same grounds. Didn't work for them.

My attorney recommends this option instead:

THE BEADLES!
You can call your first LP Straight Outta Webster's and be done with it.
I can see it now!
Beadlemania! Meet The Beadles! With The Beadles! The White Alb!
I'll leave the rest up to you. You can figure out who your Yoko will be on your own and decide whether you want to travel to India and all that. If you want my advice on the Philippines ... stay away. The bats are huge out that way.

Maybe a band name like "Six Degrees Shy of The Beatles"? Kinda long name, though.

That's a good one, rebel. Reminds me of other, actual band names like:
- The Grateful Dead Kennedys
- Sinead O'Connick, Jr.
- Duran Duran Duran
- Pink Floyd The Barber [who had to change their name; l I have one of their CDs under their current name Double Naught Spy Car that features an unexplained picture of Floyd the Barber on the inside - must be baffling to those unfamiliar with the band's history: "Well, I guess they're 'Andy Griffith Show' fans or sumthin..."]

When People Were Shorter and You Knew Them By the Trail of Dead
(Yeah, I know, I know ... but that conflates two band names that always have made me laugh.)

The Hipsters of Emo
(I DARE a band to use that name!)
"Hipster" is a meaningless term.
"Emo" is a meaningless term.
Why not just call you band "The Of" and be done with it?
I'll also risk a BHL appearance and suggest "L'Of" ... just in case your band is from a francophone country.

"L'Of? Zees sounds like ... mmmm ... zee egg, no? But eet also means ... how you say? Nozhing? Zee Goose Egg? Like tennis, no? Zut! Eet makes my head swim comme sur la mer, n'est pas?"
...
Would "Changement a jamais" be a grammatically correct option for an album title?

Il est une personne fictive, peut-être. Quelque chose pour faire avec le Botulisme. Il a à rien ne faire avec les ours de koala que je suis conscient de.
