I think that makes sense. Some of those are universally accepted as cannon. Some are highly touted unreleased albums by gods of music (Smile Sessions, Europe '67.)
It's hard to find a consensus on today's music. My album of the year is probably Days by Real Estate... Who else would pick that? Not many. It's composite score was 76.

Lifes Rich Pageant has certainly had a critical resurgence. But the list is understandable, I mean, what out today comes close to What's Going On? or Quadrophenia? Nice to see Mickey Newbury get some attention.
That's a serious question, by the way.

That Fahey box is incredible. The music is (mostly) great, of course, but that packaging is flat out amazing.
