Enemies

  • Enemies
  • Product of the Street EP (Raw Productions) 1980

The streets that produced Enemies are in upstate New York. This punk quartet may be simpleminded lyrically, but the melodies display more smarts than that would indicate. The EP boasts no production to speak of, but the sound is at least of professional-level clarity, showcasing the swell metal roar and chicken-pluckin’ guitar of Billy Piranha, plus some pretty good bass playing by Sinister. But singer Rock Mann could use a vocal coach.
